The City of Detroit Office of Digital Equity is focused on providing the residents of the city of Detroit with access to high efficiency tech hubs to bridge the digital divide in the City of Detroit. Since the pandemic tech hubs and computer labs have opened and closed. The “Certified Tech Hub” initiative was launched to track, showcase, and promote tech hubs providing clean and safe environments, free WIFI, basic digital literacy programming, IT workforce training, access to devices and additional digital equity resources.

If you are interested in having your tech hub showcased and promoted on the City of Detroit Digital Equity & Inclusion website as a City of Detroit Certified Tech Hub, fill out this form to complete the application. Once you have been approved you will receive a “Certified Tech Hub” decal to place in your window and your location will be placed on the “Find The Tech Hub Near” mobile app and interactive web map on the cities DEI website. Residents city-wide can quickly search for our location and identify all the available digital equity resources at your tech hub location.
